Recently I have been working on some washable stuffed baby animals for my soon-to-be grandchild. Iwanted to make pink elephants be while rumaging for fabric I came across these. Problem is, there isn't quite enough. I would be happy to trade fabric for a fat quarter of each. I could make do with a fat eighth, which I will supplement with contrasting fabric. If anyone can help me out please let me know ASAP. I am on deadline here.

The fabrics are RJR Fabrics from the Everything But the Kitchen Sink collection. The collection comes out every year, but with new fabics. These are from a couple years back. I called the LQS, but she didn't have any more.

Well... nevermind. I can't delete the thread and I can't upload the pictures.

This isn't my computer and I have no idea how to change the size of the picture or how to update the software.

Oh, bother.

Meg... are you out there?

I don't have the red with elephants,  but I have this in pink..... a 10x10 square, from the layer cake exchange... I also have a FQ of the little flower and the colors are nearly identical.  you are welcome to both pieces if they will work for you.

I also have 10x10 pieces:  green with lambs,  kittens and puppies in just about every color,  ducks, chicks,

Meg-
The row quilt that I just finished in 30's fabric has 1 piece that was pink with elephants on it!!
If you would like, I can see if they still have it at the quilt shop by me Thursday night when I go there!!

I don't think that I have ever seen the 2 fabrics that you have pictured though

Well, Sherry, I don't know about you being a viscountess, but one thing is certain. You are, to be sure, my fairy godmother. Thank you so much to posting the pictures here for me.

Originally I wanted to make pink elephants.  I mean, how funny would that be?!? But I was told, even if it is a girl, they want to steer clear of pink for a while. DDIL's aunt had a little girl a few years back and everyone went crazy pink. I think their tolerance has reached the saturation point for the time being.

That was why I was so delighted to come across this piece that I forgot was in my stash. The problem is that the gusset on the underside of the elephant is longer than my piece of fabric. My plan is to see if I can match my fabric to a solid blood red for the gussets on the two elephants as well as the ear linings. For the time being, I am going to hold off on your kind offers for a substitute fabric.

I have a couple stores to check here and a couple to check Up North. My mother is being honored this weekend for her work with the local historical society and we are going to run up for the ceremony. i should know by the time we get back what I am going to do.

Thanks for yor support.
