Subject: Fabric as a gift...

...My friend who introduced me to quilting is about to have a birthday this month and I would like to send her some antique or vintage fabric. She has all the fabric she needs for her current project and she hasn't mentioned what her next one might be.

I'm not worried about the cost...

Not being an avid quilter as of right now, I don't really have a frame of reference on what is an adequate amount of fabric.

Seeing as some of these fabrics are very old...some only have 2yds available while others only 18x18 inch squares.

Thank you for any help you might be able to give me.
