Jess, I love the purple template - but it would be kinda nice to have several more colors - maybe to color-match to the quilt we're listing on that page.  Going to dig out a 3-ring binder today and get started journaling.  Need to save the stories behind my antique quilts before they are lost forever.  Then I'll work on the quilts I'm making now - like the purple butterfly one for Grandgirl #1, and a Pink Hearts for Grandgirl #2.

This is exciting to see that some of you ladies are going to start journaling your quilts. I can't wait to see some of the journals and hear the results of your accomplishments in recording your craft for future generations. :)

Here's a couple of photos of my quilt journals. One page has the photo and the opposite page has the info about it.

You are making it hard to pick just 1 color! I'm going to have DH print me some of these at work, (he has a REALLY nice color copier!) so I can start keeping a better journal. I do write stuff down in a word doc and insert the picture, but I like this better. It will look much more organized this way.
Thanks, Jess!

Hi Jami - If you have Microsoft Publisher, I can send you those templates in that program. Just let me know. Glad you like them!

Jess, to answer your question, I have everything ready to start journaling - then discovered my digital was dead and I couldn't find the charger!!  Yesterday I found it and the battery is now charged.  And now I find that my color ink cartridge is nearly empty - so before I can print pictures I'll need to run to town and get a new cartridge.  Today I plan to lay out my antique quilts - one from my great-grandmother, several from grandma, and a couple others grandma and I made together.  Actually, I'm going to take them over to my grandma's house next door now that it's uninhabited again.  John said he'd help me hang the quilts so I can get good pictures for the journal.

Thanks for all the neat journal pages!  I'll try to sort of match the page colors to the quilt.  When I get something put together, I'll post pictures.

Nope Jess, I don't have publisher.
The PDF's work good. I can just email them to him. His computer at work is hooked directly to the printer. I love their copier! I send anything I get off the net (BOMs and quilt patterns) to him and he prints them for me. I hardly use any ink at home anymore!! Another plus!

Awesome Nola! You will have to start an album here too so we can drool! Let me know if there is a color of template you want and don't see here, I just made a few randomly. I have so many options and it takes like 2 minutes seriously.

Jami - That is neat for you, no toner costs from home, what a dream!
