Hi Ladies,

I have just initiated a new venture and wanted you ladies to hear about it first from me.

I am beginning a Yard of the Month Club that will feature my "Cracked Ice" hand dyed fabrics. I have opened the club up to international customers so no restrictions there. I am also offering a Half Yard of the Month Club status so more quilters will be able to participate and enjoy adding these glorious fabrics to their stashes. Each month I will pick a different color and all members will receive that color. Keep in mind that I dye these fabrics in very small batches and each yard is unique.

The way this will work is that I will keep members' credit card info on file and then the 1st of each month I will charge that card for the monthly membership dues. (Info on flyer and sign up sheet attached to this post.) Then around the 10th of the month for US customers and a bit later for international customers, your beautiful fabric will arrive on your door step. No long term committment and membership can be cancelled at any time. Also offering money back guarantee on all fabrics.

These fabrics will all eventually be offered for sale in the shop, but the membership to the club provides for a discount for additional yardage so it is something to be considered if you are interested in building a stash of hand dyed fabric.

Ok, my "to do" list is STILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL calling my name so best get back to it.

Ladies -

I asked Nawma to post about this club here because she will be offering the fabrics through the Q&N shop. She has some really fabulous fabrics and if you have never seen them in person, you will not be dissapointed! The cotton that she dyes is so beautiful it almost feels like satin with sheen and all. You really must check it out!

Thanks ladies!! I just thought I would add that the first free pattern for members of The Yard of the Month Club will be a wall hanging of a stained glass cross on a hillside. I've already begun to design it in my head and it will be available in the early fall. It will be stunning in these hand dyed fabrics!!

Yes Miss Pat these fabrics are like the treat you got in Tomball. I have 21 colors now though and they are stunning!!!!

*sigh*   welll i reckon if any pattern was gonna FORCE me to learn paper piecing that sounds like the one . . . good thing it will be the fall . . . after emily's wedding . . .

now to go find that piece of hand-dyed we got at tomball . . .   hey ms pat!!!  that means we are truly charter members!!  we got some of that luscious hand-dyed before ANYBODY else!!!  yay tomballers!!!!!!! 

Okay, ladies ... I am going to try to post a picture of my fabric here ... but you know this will not do this beautiful fabric justice ...

I took it in the best lighting in my house with the shades up and the door open, but I had to turn off the flash and set it on as slow an explosure as I could on my camera to try to get the color intensity and details ... I did a pretty good job ... the red really is this bright ...
