Everybodys challenges look wonderful!

Pat I love the idea of everybody from the weekend signing the panel and turning it into the border of your quilt! I am constantly amazed ant how imaginative everybody is!

Hello

Please remember everyone has only until tomorrow night at 12midnight Central Time to submit their challenge photos.

Voting starts on Monday!

I have taken a better picture of my challenge quilt. One that actually shows the whole quilt.  I had to get two people to hold this up for me outside. So I have changed my photo in the album to this one ...

Sally ... that is verrrry cute!! I especially love the way the moon is in the center top and you have the boats down the side sailing this way and that ...

What a wonderful addition to the album.

I love this panel.  I really should snag one and some of the fabrics while Jess still has some left in the shop.  I sang that song to my kiddos all the time when they were babies.  It was one of Jon's favorites.

Ms. Jess??? How are you doing, sweetie??? Are you going to be able to enter one of yours in the challenge?  (I hope)

We are getting down to the wire here.  I will not be setting up the poll until tomorrow morning so any entries that appear overnight will be included ...

Nice work, everyone!! Good luck!!   Pat

Sorry, not me. I really, really tried!! But the best laid plans and all... Will be working on it this week, so I will share a picture of what I am doing. Don't worry about putting me in the poll Pat, I really just wanted to get this done! Argh. This week, I hope. Almost finished with all of the work around the house before the baby gets here. Billy was home all weekend and (after an error in our first paint choice in Sapphire's room) he painted three coats, we did the wallpaper border, and we are putting the furniture, decorations, and window treatments up now. Can't do this by myself, so couldn't sew. Ho, hum.

Anywho, here is what I am working on for Sammy... got the fabric ready to cut! The bear claw blocks had to be there, since it is Brown Bear!! And the white centers of the nine brown bordered squares will be the animals that are in the book, in order. Sammy and Daddy insisted on that. I will use the rest of the panel and the extra bits of other fabrics to piece a backing as well, been thinking on that.

Jess ... your Brown Bear pattern is so cute!! Looking forward to seeing that one made up someday. I am sure you and your family are, too.   I do not know how you have the energy at this point in your pregnancy to get all you have done accomplished. Hope the doctor's visit goes as planned today and we will soon be ooooing and ahhhing over cute Sapphire Jean pictures.   {{{{{{{gentle hugs}}}}}}}

Well, I am off to set up the poll.  Everyone is going to have a tough time deciding on their choice.

Please cast your vote for the winners!!

  Pat
