I thought I'd make a spot for our beautiful flower pictures. Please share! I love looking at flowers and veggies, or gardens of all sorts. Here's a few I took yesterday.

The small rose picture is a close up of a bunch of roses on my big climbing rose bush. They plant these roses along the interstate here, as they don't need a lot of water and care. The only down side...they only bloom once a year

Here's one of my Iris's too.

And some Egyptian walking onions with some potato tops behind them.

LOL, yes Gerda, they will produce edible onions. Here is some info on them. I think the tops go over and replant themselves, that's why they are called "walking".

Jacqui, lovely rock gardens. I'll need to try and work on one (of course I'd rather you hopped over the pond and helped!!!)
Here's updated photos of rose garden plus a few of the cactus garden. (We also eat the pads of the beavertail and make jame with the cactus fruit, okay, sometimes it's pancake syrup when it doesn't jell right--it's always a guess on how much pectin and sugar to add!)
Well rose garden and one cactus flower too big (over 100) so I'll stick in my album for any who are interested--the roses are stunning right now!!!

Beautiful roses and cactus Sally!! My dh enjoys the pads of the cactus too, in certain Mexican dishes. And we've made jam before with the fruit, but I don't like dealing with all them spines!

I wish my rose garden was as big as yours!!! They are just gorgeous. My favorites are the old heirloom varities, but I can't find any locally and haven't been able to order some. Sigh~ one day!

Ladies I just wanted to share pics of my beautful baby magnolia, it is only about 4' tall. All the  other Magnolias around here are either the beautiful pink ones or the Magnolia stellata with the gorgeus white starry flowers. I had tobe different lol.. Jami I told Susan to smile ;)
