Hey, everybody!! Yes, I'm still alive and well!! I know I haven't been on much, but we've been busy painting - man, what a poky, piddley job that is!! I told Bill, next time we put up trim, it gets painted FIRST!!!! The bank inspector came this morning and says WE ARE DONE!! So the last of the draws will be forwarded, then we can get a real regular mortgage. And this being on limited internet access stinks big time!! So I've been letting DH be online the most. I go on every couple/three days. And I certainly have NOT been able to browse all the sites where I get my free BOMs :(

I will be there at 5PM Mtn. time today - make sure you have your pens and paper handy, and your brains IN GEAR!! :) I'll do my best, too! :)

Later, gators!! Miki, we'll miss you, but friendship is more important. Maybe we'll rerun this some time. I would love to drop in to your house, but I don't have that much gas in the tank!! LOL

Wow Gerda, congrats on getting close to the end with your house! Still planning to sell it and start all over?????? Not sure I could do it twice, but Billy isn't nearly as handy as your DH. However, if you should fall off a ladder - Billy is your man!!

I am really looking forward to tonight. I took a machine quilting class last year and I loved it. I also read Harriet Hargrave's Heirloom Machine Quilting book, which I found quite enlightening. Maybe I will get a chance to skim it again before tonight... maybe!

Miki - Sorry you can't make it, but I think with the new chat room I can catalog the conversation. That is, I should be able to save a copy of the whole discussion and post it here for anyone who misses out. Again, I hope!

See you crazy quilters tonight!

Gerda, Jess ... I am so sorry I missed your discussion.

I had every intention to be there ... and I could use all the machine quilting help I can get ... but someone came in, my DH came home, my son called and one thing lead to another and I just never got back to the computer until much too late ...

Maybe next time ... Pat

Jacqui, no grovelling, please, dearie, it is most unbecoming in a lady!

Cousin Marian

Like I said in an earlier post, I'd be happy to do it again, I know lots of ladies couldn't be there. It was so nice, though, for me to be able to chat with my buds again! I sure miss it! Oh, well, such is life! You take care of yourself, and we'll get together soon. Hugs!!! Gerda

Hi Jess, were you "able to save a copy of the whole discussion and post it here for anyone who misses out." ?  Sure would love to read what was said.  Sounds like information I could use.  Sorry I was unable to be here for the actual discussion.                 Sandy
