Ladies I have just had a phone call from Milica. She is out of surgery and has had a very bad few days. She feels slightly better today and it seems as if she will be in hospital another week.

She is in a lot of pain and I am asking, not Milica,( she would never presume to ask bless her heart) if you will please please add her to your prayers for a while longer and ask for fast healing for this lovely lady.

I shall keep you all informed as I get to know more.

Love and hugs to you all

Jacqui

Clearly I have a lot to catch up on. I had no idea Milica was having surgery at this point - thought it was happening later. She will most definitely be in my prayers.

Lizzie, originally (or at least when she came to the retreat) she thought her surgery was going to be at the private facility near her. But the contract ended btwn the regular hospital and the private facility, so they scheduled her over at the regular hospital - which made her a bit nervous as she has had some troubles with them. She will be recovering for three months, I think. (I may be wrong on some of my facts, but this is how I understand it all...)

Jacqui, thanks for sharing the news. I have been thinking of her often and wondering how she is doing. I hope she finds some comfort soon! I will be thinking of her and praying for a speedy recovery!

Hello everyone, just a quick update about Milicas progress so far .

She rang this evening and asks me to say Thank YOu to each of you for your kindness and she will pop on as soon as she is able to say Thank You herself.

She should have been having her leg put in plaster today but unfortunatley she has developed large blisters from the dressings   and they have to wait til these are gone before they can do the cast. On an upbeat note she sounded much more cheerful and like her old self today :)

Sending you love and encouragement Milica sweetheart sorry I haven't been able to come down to see you xxxxx

Get well quick, Milica!  Those nasty tape burns are the pits!  Hope they heal nicely.

Thanks Jacquie, for keeping us updated on Milica's progress.
