Does everyone understand that you do not have to log on every time you come to this forum? If not, here are some notes that might help:

When I logged on the first time on this computer, I clicked on the box just below password that says "remember my login." Now, I don't log off manually. I just close my web browser (internet explorer) when I want to get off of the forum. Then, when I come back to this page, I am automatically logged in again, although I have not been logged in during the interim. Does this makes sense?

In a nutshell, log in, click the "remember my login" box, then don't worry about officially logging off. The forum recognizes you are gone when you close your browser. Also, if you are inactive for about 15 minutes, the forum thinks you are gone anyway and stops showing your name. Clear as mud?

Please let me know if you need any additional information!

Jess, that makes me feel a lot better.  Yesterday our lines went down while I was still busy in the Forum and I couldn't log off - was quite concerned that I would be messing things up by not doing so. Whew - now I can relax if it happens again :)  It's a good system!
