Random quote: To be nobody but myself -- in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else -- means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight, and never stop fighting. -E.E. Cummings, poet (1894-1962)

Last night was better for us.  I think we are accepting that we will never know the reason behind the company's decision.  We've come up with quite a few, but they border on conspiracy theories now.

Rick has been contemplating a new job for a while, but I think his loyalty to the company has kept him there.  God has shown us that his loyalty is no longer needed.  In my heart, I believe that he will find a better job.  Unfortunately right now, we will be a little worried and stressed until that happens.

Thank you for all of your kind words, thoughts, and prayers.  I do believe that they have calmed me.  We are fortunate that he still has a job while he is looking for a new one so God is taking care of us.

Have a wonderful day!

Hi Jennifer,

Everyone is right, place it in God's hands, and he will guide you. But ya know Rick was looking for a job when he found that one. That has always been our motto. There is always a better one down the road. While it sounds like Rick is a good guy with loyalty to his company, there are alot of companies that to not appreciate that quality anymore which is very sad. I will keep you in my prayers that he will find the right opportunity.

Just another Memaw with prayers.

No news yet.  The hiring agent was out of town most of last week.  DH is supposed to contact her today.  He is going out of town tomorrow night for a church function and will be gone 5 nights.  I think this event occurs at the perfect time for him.  It will get him out of the office, and hopefully the hiring agent will have some job prospects lined up by the time he gets home.

Jennifer

You, Rick and Zachy are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.  I'm a great believer in fate and it is obviously the time for Rick to move on and excel in a new job.  I'm pretty certain that it will not be too long before the perfect job finds Rick.

I have Great news!!  Rick received a job offer this evening from a company in Midland.  It's not official until he signs an employee contract so he will have to wait until Monday to give his 2-weeks notice.  A lot of stress has left our house (and his parents, right Nawma?) this evening.

Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers!

Rick and I are thrilled for Rick II and Jennifer!!! This new job sounds like it is going to be a fabulous job for Rick II. We all had every confidence that he would find a good job and we are grateful that he was able to find it in such a short amount of time.

Yes, Jennifer, lots less stress over here now too!!!

Zachy is getting his new baby nephew today so we are all praying that things go well for Renda and that Kohen arrives with a smile on his face!!!
