Random quote: To be nobody but myself -- in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else -- means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight, and never stop fighting. -E.E. Cummings, poet (1894-1962)

I'm baaaaaaccckkkk!!!  Did ya miss me?  I thought I would see what every one is doing this weekend.

I bet some of you are so excited that Tomball is next week. I will have to survive by being a "Homebody" and have to work on stuff.  What kind of stuff will I be working on.... let's see.

I plan to finish my Schnibble top. It is going to be soooo pretty and old-fashion looking.  From there I'll add some time on "Sunflowers & Crows". Plus whatever hand project I'm working on. I'm not trying to make with a big list this weekend, just enough that if I get those done I can still add to it without feeling over-whelmed.

So with luck I'll have to nice eye candy to share.

Well what you doing?  Care to share?

Toodles,

Tricia

Well looks like a quiet weekend but I wanted to share some eye candy for anyone that might venture in.

The first one is my 1st knitting project. It's a knitted pin cushion.

And the other 2 pictures are from my 1st Schnibble project.  I'm using 2 Antique Fair Charm packs that was gifted to me.  I sure like the way it is coming together.  With the two packs, I was able to do a nice controlled scrappy project.  It will look feminine with it old-fashioned look but still be right at home in a cottage with wood walls.

Sure hope ya like the eye candy. I'll pop back in later.

Toodles,

Tricia

Tricia,

Love the blocks! The pincushion is really unique!!!!

I have been working on "Crystal Dawn". A quilt top that I cut back in 2001 and discovered again when I was cleaning out my sewing room. I also made "Clive", a BOM from The Quiltery in Austrailia.

Thank you very much ladies!! I'm glad that you enjoyed my eye candy. Today I was catching up on the Nancy Drew blog hop before I was motivated to start working on the Ballet Slippers.

Since I used 2 Antique Fair charm packs, it looks I'll be able to not only make the lap quilt but 2 pillow covers too!!  I even know right where these will go once I'm done with them. In the front room where I have my 27" oval floor hoop for handquilting, is this sofa that Steve inherited from his favorite aunt who was an interior designer/decorator.  This is a high back, hide-a-bed that is soft and blue. The blue is almost a perfect match to the fabric. The cats love sitting on the back of it too.  I think these pieces will go really nicely with that and the white pine walls, and all those windows.

Cheri... isn't it fun to "find" a "new" project when cleaning?  I would be interested in seeing your "Crystal Dawn".  I tryed to google it without much luck.  I know "Clive" and think he is the "cat's meow"  lol!

Hope to share some more eye candy in the next couple of days so be sure to stop back by later in the week.

Toodles,
Tricia
