Yes, the prayers are certainly working. They are going to not give him his dose of seizure med tonight, and tomorrow start him on a lower dose to see how he does. Hopefully he'll have no seizures tonight.

And today, nurse was talking about letting me breastfeed We are hoping the lower dosage of seizure meds will make it so he is more alert and awake. He is looking good. Is up to 5lbs 2oz (was born 4lb 15oz).

So keep up the prayers Ladies, you know it's working!!

update from dorian;

isaiah continues to be seizure free on medications. his med levels were high so they skipped a dose. when it comes down they will restart at a lower dose and see how he does.

he is taking more feedings by bottle, some bottle and some tube feed to prevent him tiring out.

has been awake for 3 hours at a time. he has been unable to keep his temp up on his own however.

right now he is acting like a typical feeder/ grower.

dorie is anxious for home and kids and her own bed but is very happy about isaiah's progress.

its very good news to hear from her on this resurrection day,

Dorian, are you home yet? I've been thinking about you a lot the last couple of days and hope you made it home safely.

Yah, it's go home day!!

Unless, I get to the hospital and find that Isaiah has had something go wrong...a seizure or a dip in his blood sugars, or... Praying that that wont be the case. I need to go home!!! But Isaiah needs to be strong enough. I'll let you all know if we make it home today.

Dorian, I'm so happy for you! It's funny we were calling him "Pipsqueak" all this time and it turned out he was! Get some rest and enjoy your family. :)
