Random quote: Laughter which cannot be suppressed is catching. Sooner or later it washes away our defences, and undermines our dignity, and we join in it -- ashamed of our weakness, and embittered against the cause of its exposure, but no matter, we have to join in, there is no help for it -- Mark Twain

Woohoo! Roll, Roll Cotton Boll is finally finished! This is half of it...I don't have anywhere big enough to hang or spread it out to take a picture. It's 95 X 109. The second photo is the kitty fabric I used in the border.

WOW Donna, very nice.  I agree - way too many tiny pieces for this impatient gal!!!
Here's one of the tops I've put together for a grand niece (I hope).

donna, wonderful work on the RRCB!  i think i'm with you tho - those string blocks don't do much for me . . . but you persevered and that's what counts!

Yes Cindy, there are "old fashioned" nursery rhyme characters in those blocks.  They're actually hankies I bought when Rayden's mother was born - never did get that quilt made, ssssssssooooooo it's finally a top and on the frame to be quilted.

I Just love that apron quilt, Sally. What a precious block. Can you tell me where to find it? what size is your block? What a great use of rick rack.

I'm in love with it....lol

All the works are cool...I have missed visiting here. Perhaps as life tries to get back to normal now...I can get back into the swing of things here.
