Albeit small, here is my finish. It is the first of a series of 12. Though it is the Jan flower it will double up for Dec this year. My goal is that by end of 2012 the whole series will be done. I started the project in 2010 and have 8 stitched, working on the #9 currently. As that is July I can coast for a bit once I have the fabric parts added to the stitching for the first six months.

Here are two pillows I finished this morning. The Celtic applique was started in a QU class in 2009. I finished the center during the class then decided I didn't like my color scheme and put it away. I got it out last weekend and drafted and appliqued the border, which didn't take very long at all!

Every other year when my guild has its quilt show, Blank Quilting sends us hundreds of these little hexagon kits as door prizes. (Each kit makes one "flower.") This year I kept a few to try English PP. Don't think I'll do any more, at least nothing very big. Anyway, I didn't know what else to do with it so made another pillow. They are both 16" and will be donated to my guild.

Donna, love the pillows, especially the celtic one!

Agnes--lovely X-stitch--thanks for the reminder about the site--I was thinking of doing a 'cross-stitch' quilt (square of colour for each cross stitch in design)--and carnation is lovely, speaking as a January baby!!
