Ok Ladies, here we go!  Anyone and everyone is welcome to vote. Go here to look at the fabrics and projects.

Base your criteria on this:

The end product will be judged both on creativity and its ability to showcase the original pretty fabric without compromising the beauty of the fabric .

*VOTING HAS ENDED!

Congrats to  SANDY who has won first place.

Congrats to NOLA who has won second place.

A big round of applause for all of us who entered. They are all lovely....

Hah, wish I'd remembered to post mine by the deadline. Oh well, my project is not near as cool as these ladies have done. Good job.

Lenice, we'd still like to see it. Never too much inspiration.

Yes Lencie and Denise and anyone else who couldn't make the deadline, please show your pieces!!!  Love all the eye candy.  WTG everyone!     It was tough, but I've made my decision, and am sticking to it.    Good luck everyone.

I just have an observation to make - I understood from seeing other challenges like this (at guild, too) that a fabric that was considered too pretty to cut up, was supposed to be still in one piece (at least a large chunk of it) - the beauty of a piece would be lost if it was chopped up - am I wrong??

Y'all did great, that is gorgeous eye candy - thanks so much for providing it for us. It will be interesting to see who the winner of the prize is.

That wasn't the kind of challenge they did Gerda. it was just a piece of fabric they loved so much that it seemed too pretty to cut. I think the first post of the challenge thread goes into more detail.

Perhaps we should have called it the "I live this fabric so much I can't bing myself to cut it!" challenge. ;-)
