Hey, I was bloghopping for a few minutes while supper cooked, and came across a neat and very handy cutting chart for setting blocks in a diagonal set.

http://lavieenrosie.typepad.com/   It's on the right side, in the column, under Random Stuff - called Cheat Sheet, cutting triangles.

It's a good 'un!! (If the forum fairy or Jess or whoever wants to keep the link, you'd better figure out where to keep a PDf file LOL  I know you can do it!!!)

Here's another chart plus a few other cheat sheets you might like. I have some of these printed on stock card, slipped into a plastic sleeve and posted on my information board at my cutting table. I also have the PDFs in a desktop file, marked as +Information in my quilting file so that it is the first file. This is to make it easy for me to find reference material, rather than a pattern or idea and don't have to remember what I called the file.

Bonnie Hunter also has quite a few of these math things worked out for us on her site. http://www.quiltville.com

Thanks, Donna. I've saved the ones I deemed important. I think I should print and have some of this info handy in a ring binder. Another organizing project just was born.

Thanks, ladies, I'll go save those too - good idea, Agnes - both for the computer saving tip and the binder or DuoTang tip.

Since my printer has decided that it will only work when it wants to (which hasn't been often lately), I think I need to print stuff when I can and have it handy for those times when you just don't want to mess with finding things on the computer!
