I have these pieces and blocks available for any one who would like them.  There are six churn dash, and one pinwheel made up.  There are half square triangles for four more pinwheel blocks.  I can send a copy of the pattern I was using with it.  Will ship to you or if you are coming to the retreat this week I will bring it with me (i need to know by Tuesday evening, I am leaving early Wed AM)

that was quick  :)  me too, i dont know why but i really like the block.   ... have a look at the fabrics there before committing, I was planning on a quilt for a baby boy for a friend and i got rushed through the fabric store... had the husband with me.    setting is a 2 by 3 with sashing, seen in the picture.  pinwheels go in the corners of the borders.

Got them just before I left for Sacramento to see my kids (just here for the weekend)--beautiful blocks! Thank you so very much!! Now if Dynah is going to have a boy I'm WAY ahead of the game! She has her ultrasound on 14 or 15 April--can't wait!
Oh, forgot--cut off about 12" of my hair--now just past my shoulders in lots of layers and bangs--I'll have to post a pic!

Yes please Sally we would all love to see the 'new you' - was this a decision based on your new life after retiring from work?
