No problem, Midge, it happens to all of us at one time or another.
Thanks, Miss Forum Fairy, for the fix.

And just so you all know I haven't fallen off the ends of the earth, my home computer is at the "spa" getting all cleaned up! So I only check in during the week while I'm at work and usually just one time. So if ya need me send me a pm and I'll get it!

But with that said, Nikki asked me to let you know that she wants to play too! Her favorite color is Pink and she could really use some 45mm rotary blades (it's a Fiskars) and she LOVES Gutterman thread. She mainly uses a light grey.

Off to send Gerda her info! Really looking forward to this swap!

May I please play too?  Just now found this thread.  Haven't been around much the last couple weeks - more problems with my brother, quite a lot of snow that makes doing the outside work take 3 times as long, my old Chocolate Lab passed away last week and to be honest, I haven't cried that much in ages - miss that old man so bad!  Guess I've sort of been taking a vacation from quilting for a few days.

That being said, I really would like to join in the fun here.  Favorite color - brown, turqouise, or a combination of both.  Notions:  new marking pen, or a pattern - just about any notion as I like gadgets.

Gerda, I think you have my addy, but will send you a PM anyway.

{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}} Nola. Sorry about the continued challenges with you rbrother. I understand the tears for your old pal, been there. It just tugs those heartstrings and the tears just flow. Funny how they are interconnected.

Glad you found the thread and are going to play. It will help mend the heart.

Hugs and stitches

Thanks, Debbieann!  I appreciate your kind words.  Charlie (the lab) was a really special dog - only had him about a year and a half.  He just showed up in our village one day - probably dumped - he wasn't young anymore and he was housebroken, did tricks, etc.  He had some health problems, mainly hip dysplasia, but the last few weeks he'd become lethargic, and the last couple days he lived he exhibited the classic signs of congestive heart failure.  Probably could have prolonged his life with medicine, but the joint problems were getting worse, so I had to consider the quality of life too.  Last Sat. evening he stumbled over to my daughter and just fell over and died with his head on her leg.  My neighbor is going to come over today and dig his grave.  The ground has been frozen too hard to dig, so he's wrapped in a blanket in an outbuilding that's cold where nothing can get to him.  But I'll be glad to get him buried so I can have some closure.  My grandgirls wrote him love letters that I'm to put in a plastic bag and bury with him.  R.I.P. Charlie (a.k.a. Charles Bronson Browndog - my soon to be new son-in-law's name for him!)

Looking forward to getting back into sewing and quilting - maybe it will help this winter depression - something I've never had before this year.

Awww, Nola, what sad news! both about your brother, but 'specially Charlie. It really does hurt when they pass.

The winter depression could just be a result of all the stress you're under, but taking extra Vitamin D should help some too. They say we don't get near enough, and that the amounts recommended are way too little.

BTW I have you down for the swap :)
