Hey Nancy!! We would love for you to jump in on this quilt project. I think we are all enjoying it so far and I can't wait to see what you will come up with for yours.

The center medallion is 56x56 and the star blocks are 12 1/2".

I've been lurking till now but this project sucked me in. I love stars and have had "quilter's block" recently along with many other things happening in my life. Also I reinvent my patterns from other's ideas. I am looking at an entirely different center block which is already in progress but perhaps doing the star border. Only when I am done will I know whether I have managed to carry through.

Wow Quilt Mama!! I can't wait to see your take on this pattern. I tend to make changes to everything I do as well. Please post pics as you go so we can enjoy your work as well.

Connie,

I am working in my step #1 assembly and am finding that it is asking me to take my "C" squares to add to the Four patch. I don't see where I cut out the pieces. I am guessing that they are the 2 1/4 just like the "E" squares.

I am hoping to get pics posted soon, Now that my blocks are coming together I am not sure I like my choices, I guess I will just have to keep going and maybe it will look better as I go along.

Here is my step one. The colors have more contrast in person.

Rosie,

Your colors look so good together. I just love spring colors (especially yellow!) That quilt is going to turn out amazing. Keep the pictures coming.
