:justcuz: I'm so glad everyone is enjoying your layers. I sorted mine last night to start to think about the Touch of Vegas. I also found something I printed that is a B&W Table Runner....

Gerda, nice ideas Boy, all these ideas....just so many choices.....

Please post any pictures of your projects so we can all enjoy your eye candy!

There are some that I haven't heard from as to whether they received their layers. I know it is too early for Debbieann and Milica, but has anyone heard from Jess, Jeri, Nikki, Sherry, Laura or AJ? I have tracking numbers on each package.

Jeri and I picked up ours yesterday. It was my first chance to get by the post office, with all of the traveling. They are awesome!! Thanks Annette for all of your hard work. This swap went really well!

Annette,

The cakes arrived and they are gorgeous!  Thank you so much for doing this swap for all of us.  I can't wait to dive into these fabrics.  I am thrilled to see some buttons and ants in the mix, and thank you for the Halloween goodies, too.

Annette

My layer cakes arrived today and were waiting for me when I got in from work.  Thank you very much and thanks for the extras too, that was a lovely surprise.  Thank you for organising this.  Haven't decided what to do with these yet but think I will not use them for the Vegas quilt as have other fabrics in mind for that pattern.

Again thanks!

I do hope all of you know there are only so many ways you can use these layers and only once! I know I've changed my mind several times, but then, that's why we did the swap!!!

I'm so glad you got your layers Milica. That must be a record for timely! I hope Debbieann gets hers....

I'm glad you all enjoyed the swap and plan to participate in the next one. Not sure when and not sure who will do it. Stay tuned though...
Each of you made it sooo easy for me. Thank you.

Got mine a few days ago, just haven't had a chance to post. I love them!!! I can't decide what to do with them yet -- too many ideas. So they're just sitting on my sewing table for now waiting for me to decide!

Thank you, Annette, for hosting such a fun swap!

Ooooh, nice, Jeri!! Are you planning a large quilt with these?? or something small?? I'm wanting to do some hexies, too, hopefully in the next month or so - gotta get some other things off my plate first.

Gerda,
Coasters actually. I'm going to save the big quilt for another time. This way I can practice quilting on my machine on something small before I attack it with an entire quilt.

What a great idea! Hmmm, it's definitely a good way to "get your feet wet" as far as a new technique AND practicing machine quilting.

What kind of batting are you thinking of using? Obviously a thin one, but cotton? poly? blend?

I hadn't figured out the batting yet. Cotton would probably dry quicker I'm thinking. Any suggestions?
