Awesome! So you ladies help me remember when we get a new member to direct them to this thread so they will know about pictures. I think this is the hardest thing for new members to figure out how to do.

I have to email them to myself and hotmail resizes them. I don't have Microsoft office. To bad it does sound easier.

Ok, Sally mentioned that too - how do you take it from your e-mail and post it?? Just curious!

I use OUtlook Express at home and Lotus NOtes at work. Both have a 'save attachment' choice. I save the pic to my hard drive in a different folder. When I hit the 'browse' button I just go to the 'email pics' folder and find it!

Oh, thanks, Sally - I wondered!! LOL

I use IncrediMail Premium, I don't know if it has that feature. But thanks to JEss (and Cindy), I can post pics now. I'll try again later today.

Gerda when the email comes back to me - I save to my flash drive. I have one strictly for quilting. Then attach it when it asks. It took me days to figure it out but I won.lol

OK, it worked! I had to resize it in "paint"....I wish it wasn't quite THAT small, though! you can't really see the details

This site takes up to 200KB pics, but not a kb larger! I use ACDSee.

What a wonderful memory quilt! Great job!!

Laurie.... another way I do it is to use Photobucket. (free).... then you can post a larger pic using the "direct link" under the share dropdown menu. because the picture itself is housed on photobucket and not on this site.

It's pretty easy to do... and then your pics are also backed up on a remote site.

Use the rich text editor at the bottom left of the reply panel. then where you want the pic, click on the green tree icon at the top, copy the link info there and hit submit.

Gerda is right... that is a wonderful memory quilt!!!!
