I don't know how many of you are familiar with Bronwyn Hayes (Red Brolly Designs), but she is offering a monthly stitchery pattern of kitties!! These are from her older books/patterns. Check it out here:

I just highlighted, copied and pasted into my Office program - I am hoping she does it differently next time! But maybe they don't all know how to do PDFs! I tried to copy and make it into a PDF, but it didn't work - so I did what I said, then saved as a PDF. Let me know if you need more help. I need to put away my groceries now.

Ok ladies, I e-mailed Bronwyn, she e-mailed me back with a PDF file (you can do the same), and she is trying to figure out what happened - she wants to post links to PDFs in future. So just drop her a line.

As most of you know, I don't like cats (At all!! well, I will admit they are sort of cute - but not in my house, yard, life!!) but I think I will embroider these and make small wall hangings for my kids and grands - my daughter (and grandgirls) have 1, my son and DIL have 2, but she just found out she is allergic to them, so they need to find new homes for them. So I figure, if I embroider and make small quilts, they can still have their fill of kitties - I may do a Jean Boyd type quilt http://www.patternsbyjeanboyd.com/ and make a flanged opening they can tuck a photo of their cats in (this would be for my son and DIL). I made a Jean Boyd little quilt for my younger sister years ago - she and her hubby had had a couple of miscarriages (after several successful, healthy pregnancies) then had a baby boy with anencephaly, who only lived 10 hours. She had a photo of Silas and tucked it in the space I left. This is the one I made (In Americana colours, as they live in the US and that's how she decorates) - the green and pink one http://www.uppercanadaquiltworks.com/jeanboyd/patterns/pop_out_pict...
