I had no trouble getting into any forums this morning or afternoon. Now I am having to re-register everywhere. Some places I can't even gain access to. Any idea what's going on?

No idea! Hmmm... I see you on now under your usual name, did you get it to let you sign in?

Anyone else experiencing difficulties?

I had to re-register here and at BC and to get my e-mails. My access is still being denied at the Coast Guard forum. I can't even bring up the home page as a guest.

meg, are you SURE you've been behavin' yourself????

(aw come on now, you know we wuvs you . . . .)

seriously, no clue why so many forums knocked you off - have you run a virus scan on your puter?  just wondering if something in your puter is interacting with the servers or whatever it is runs the forums????  i am NOT that computer literate tho - that just sounds like something my friend darrell would ask me if the same thing had happened to me . . .

Meg - sounds like it's your computer for some reason - I haven't had any problems getting on here or BC.

I swear Meg, I didn't do it, really I didnt..

No I haven't experienced any trouble today either at work or home. The only trouble I have is sometimes after I read a post it will not let me go back to the main forum, I have to get out completely and than come back in.  Doesn't happen often but occassionaly.

sounds like your temp internet files or your cookies got deleted, and your cache cleared. Depending on how your PC is set up, this can be an automated process done every once in a while if those folders reach a certain capacity size.

When I'm not taking all sorts of cold medicine and able to think more clearly I'll see if I can help you get it all restored. In the meantime, when you sign in somewhere and you want to save the info, make sure you click on the box "remember me" by your logins, and that should be a start.

What internet browser do you use by the way? Internet Explorer? I use Firefox and find it is much nicer :)

I found, just after this site opened up, that I didn't have to log-in/out every time. I think there's a place to check off "keep me logged on" or words to that effect, so everytime I click on QnN on my dropdown in the address bar, it brings me straight to the home page and I just click on forums to see what all my dear friends are up to! Sorry, Meg and Nanci, I'm of very little help, too - I really don't know much, though one of my friends in town thinks I do - hey, just because I can talk the talk, doesn't mean I can figure out a problem with these machines! I sure hope you both can get it figured out.
