I'm getting ready to go to San Antonio next week. Would have been nice to have gone to Tomball, but I suppose my grandson would have been disappointed. He might not have understood that a quilt retreat comes before his graduation from boot camp at Lackland AFB. s'pose??? LOL Glad you are having fun there and possibly sewing? LOL

Just a quick note...Jona and I made it home safe and sound!! I dropped her off at her house about 3:30 this morning and finished the drive just a short time ago (had to get some puppy lovin' before I checked in with you all!)

Now, time to go nite-nite...I'll catch up with you later!!

Finally landed on UK soil at 7.15 am this morning and played hide and seek with Geoff in the arrivals lounge! - we finally met up and drove home arriving at 9.30.  Did a little unpacking and then dozed for 6 hours!  The plane home this time was absolutely full - there were two groups, a group of 40 something retired couples travelling to Europe and a group of 50 something mexicans travelling to Rome.  My legs are still very red and swollen and hope to get a doctor's appointment tmrw to get some antibiotics so they can get back to normal.

Had a great time at Tomball and it was fab catching up with old friends and making new ones as well.  Sherry and Nikki were so sweet for taking me to the airport later so I wouldn't have to wait too long for my flight.  Thankfully I don't go back to work until next Monday so have some time to get over my jetlag and catch up on some housework and sewing ready for my next retreat on the 26th March.

so glad everyone is getting home safe & sound!

i got home later monday than anticipated - there was apparently a bad wreck in jackson, ms, which held up traffic for over an hour!  right at the I-55/I-20 exchange too . . . then once i got into alabama and hit the birmingham loop, the powers-that-be decided that monday was a wonderful day to pave and re-stripe TWO of the 3 lanes of the loop so more delay . . . then once i finally got back on 20, there was not one, but TWO construction zones that held up traffic!  gosh the backup was horrible!  but i finally got home about 3 hours later than i normally would have.

i'll get my pics posted soon as i get caught up on things around here!  carter has been taking top priority of course

Oh my, how awful on all the traffic woes, as if the drives weren't already long!
{{{Milica}}} legs all red and swollen? What's up?

Shame on me... I am only now downloading the pictures! Will start a new thread in the quilty auntie section about it.

Glad to know that everyone is home safe and sound. I always need a good long sleep after retreat!
