Hi everyone -

I started crocheting a little blankie when I was preggers with Sammy, but never finished it. Anyway, I have been working on it and have about 5 rows left and it is good to go. But...

I want to add a little ruffle or something around the edge. The blankie is solid white. I will take a pic and post it later. I saw one like this where a lady threaded a red ribbon through the edge of it, and that was gorgeous, but will it bleed on the white? Anyone know?

Satin ribbon won't bleed sweetheart, if you are nervous of it, just pop a snippet in a bowl of hot water xxx

Can't wait to see it :)

You're welcome sweetheart, if you make sure it is satin, like the rosebuds I put on Sapphires shawl you won't have any problems :) velvet ribbon will bleed though  :) PLease take a pic when you have finished it I can't wait to see it :):)
