Here are pics of my progress on my hexie project. I took it with me to the beach last weekend.

Here are a couple of piccies of my hexes so far - I took them to France to do and progress so far is 285 flowers sewn and about 200 sewn together and another 190 flowers worth drawn ready to cut out.  This is a slow project as I only take it to stitch and *** and when we go to France.  Really pleased with the top so far.

very pretty, denise!  i remember you said something about having the different seasons of that series of stitchery, will you be finishing those the same way as autumn?

WOW milica!!!  i did pull my hexes out and looked at them last night . . . even stitched a few up whilst i watched a couple of taped shows, but nothing compared to what you got done whilst in france

Very nice ladies.  I admire anyone who can accomplish anything with hand sewing.  Beautiful, just beautiful!   Sandy

I'm thinking I'll finish each one of them a little different. The summer one is one I'm working on is probably destined to have mini log cabin blocks in the border.

I enjoy seeing the progress on all your lovely hexes. I feel hexed out but hand sewing is alive and well at my house. Actually it is too well as oddly enough, from a method I swore I would never do, it has gone to my preferred way of piecing. So, Sandy, with time you may become accomplished as well.

Here is my finished picture! It's been waiting for a trip through the laundry.....

All stitches by hand.....   Only took me 2 years...... but it's a finish!  Yeah!

Denise, that's lovely!

Milica, I just saw yours as well. It's really coming along.

Don't you just live switching it up to handwork now an again?
