Hello,

I am trying to post a picture of my MM step1 quilt. I click on the Reply button on that thread and see where it says "insert image", but when I click on that it asks for the URL of the image. But, if I'm getting the image from my Documents, I don't know how to figure that URL out.

Can someone please help.

Dorian

Sorry, Dorian, I'm at a loss - I usually post the URL via photobucket.  Maybe if you send it to Jess she will be able to post it for you.

Hi Dorian,

Let's see if I can help...

Hit the reply button on a thread, type your message, and click the check box next to "Attach a file after posting" before hitting submit. Hit submit.

Then you should have a new screen that has a button to "Browse" through your files on your computer. Find the file you want to upload (make sure it is below 200K) and select it. Then hit submit.

Once you hit submit, you have a link that you can click to return to the thread. Click there and you should be able to see your pic. Clear as mud? Let me know if you do not figure this out. You can certainly e-mail the pic to me at jess@thequiltandneedle.com, and I will post it for you.

Hope this helps!

Yes I did Ferrellee, Jess's instructions were perfect. I put the picture in the "piecing the MM" thread, but maybe Jess can move it to the albumn for me.

I think I know how to get a pic up onto these threads, but am having difficulty now saving pics from CD's made from our 35 mm camera.  Anyone have any suggestions?  All the charity quilts I've got now are completed except need to sew labels on two.  Would like to post pics, but when I've tried saving from the CD's, the 'puter says it'll replace/delete the file I'm saving to.     Don't want that to happen!  Suggestions???          Thanks.          Sandy

ps:  still haven't found our digital camera.
