I signed up for an appetizer for our quilt guild's Christmas potluck last night (and since my experience in making appetizers consists of cheese and crackers or ham rolled around pickles, I decided to try something new when I got this recipe in my inbox a couple of weeks ago) I made it, and brought it in last night, served with RITZ (r) whole grain crackers (though many others would work, as would toast rounds/Melba toast, whatever (no flavours, though). IT WAS A RESOUNDING SUCCESS - the bowl was empty but for a tablespoon or so!!! the other appertizes went home half eaten. Even I liked this!!! and I'm kinda picky!

That sounds good, Gerda. Tonight I'm going to try a new recipe for spinach & cheese in puff pastry. If it comes out okay I'll make it for a party we're attending Sunday night. If they don't work out, I'll probably be making cranberry cream cheese spread! LOL
